Case Study: Northside Townhomes Phase II

The Northside Townhomes project marked Montgomery Development Group as the first Spartanburg-based developer to invest in the Northside Initiative, a decade-long community revitalization effort. This initiative is led by Northside residents in partnership with the Northside Development Group and the City of Spartanburg. The master planning process under the Northside Initiative underscored the necessity for high-quality, mixed-income housing in the historic neighborhood. Following the successful completion of Phase 1, Phase 2 will encompass 84 units, with 25% designated as affordable housing, aiming to maintain affordability for all families in the Northside community as it continues to attract new residents.
