In keeping with its goal of strengthening communities, Montgomery Development Group is proud to lead a variety of commercial development efforts. From large-scale national retailers to boutique shops and eateries, we facilitate a diverse portfolio of projects. Drayton Marketplace, a $10 million capital investment, includes a diverse mix of retail, restaurants and service-oriented businesses, creating a first-of-its-kind lifestyle center in Spartanburg, S.C.
Montgomery Development Group is committed to positively impacting communities by enhancing the quality of housing stock for families. Perhaps no project better exemplifies the company’s commitment to creating high-end, multi-family housing than Drayton Lofts in the Upstate of South Carolina. The $50 million, mixed-use development is transforming a 113-year-old mill into 289 luxury apartment units, accompanied by a state-of-the-art fitness center, shared outdoor recreation area and access to a multi-use trail. Once fully realized, the project also will include nearly 300 acres of architecturally unique single family homes, transforming that portion of Spartanburg County.
From build-to-suit construction that meets specific client needs to large-tract development, Montgomery Development knows how to manage industrial projects to successful fruition. Our founder John Montgomery has had a hand in some of the Southeast’s largest manufacturing projects in recent years, including a $1 billion economic investment by Japanese carbon fiber manufacturer Toray Industries.
Montgomery Development is currently master planning hundreds of acres for industrial development off Highway 290 near Moore, S.C.
